Job Cards

For the first couple weeks of school, students in every grade spend time making job cards, which will be used throughout the school year. Every grade level is divided up into different animal groups, and then each student has to draw an imaginary self portrait of themselves as their own unique version of that type of animal. Students were encouraged to use the whole page, and make their colors and lines POP! They could put their imagined animal in a realistic or imaginary environment, or they could create a pattern or design for their background. Each and every drawing is so unique - just like the students at Briargrove!
