I am THANKFUL...

...for hundreds and HUNDREDS of beautiful, unique, inspiring, amazing, original works of art made every day in this bright, messy, lively classroom.
...for a super large drying rack that holds more than a days worth of amazing masterpieces...
...for works of art so detailed and delicate, that sometimes they need to dry on tables...
...for students who don't mind working on the floor when the tables are covered in drying artwork...
... for students who are so pleased with their work they surround you from all angles just to show it to you...
...for REUSED and RECYCLED materials, and students who are thrilled and inspired to help their environment by gathering them and putting them to use...
...for stacks of egg cartons and boxes of toilet paper rolls waiting to turn into hand-crafted bugs, buildings, birds and more...
...for an assortment of amazingly diverse bottlecaps, diligently collected by student, teacher, parent, relative, friend, and community member alike...
...for brightly colored cardboard boxes broken down and ready for creating...
...for the beautiful spectrum of creative thinking, problem-solving, and art making that I am blessed to be able to witness in my classroom five days a week.
I am THANKFUL I am an ART TEACHER!!!
